The Cascade Elementary School Addition (Phase 1) consists of a cafeteria, kitchen (with dry storage room and toilet room), two classrooms (with dedicated HVAC closets), a custodial room, an electrical room, and toilet rooms. The gross building area target size (gross area) is 8,850 square feet. The actual building design is currently 8,846 square feet (a reduction of 466 square feet since Schematic Design). The addition is slated to be constructed on the north side of the existing gymnasium following demolition of the existing stage and adjacent accessory storage rooms and ramp. Slightly less than one acre of the site will be redeveloped to support the building addition.
